list price vs actual price
A CRM's entry list price and its commonly paid price are different numbers, and most comparisons publish only the first. This site publishes both wherever verified — the gap itself is a scored dimension worth 20% of every index score.
the verified case: Salesforce
Salesforce enters the price list at $25/seat. Common actual spending in the same source runs $100–$195/seat (WeekCRM) — a four-to-eight-fold difference between the two published figures. Neither number is a secret; most roundups simply quote one. Our main ranking shows both, in the same entry, side by side.
the rule this page states
Entry list price ≠ commonly paid price. A list price is a vendor's entry tier; a commonly paid range is what teams at similar sizes report or third-party reviewers record. Any platform entry on this site that has only one of the two numbers shows only that number — the missing figure is left out, never estimated.
how it scores

- price_transparency (20%) — both numbers present and disclosed in the same entry.
- per_seat_pricing (15%) — the seat-based structure behind the entry figure.

FAQ
Why do CRM list prices differ from what teams actually pay?
List prices quote the entry tier; actual invoices add the seats, tiers and add-ons teams really buy. Our 2026 sample records the gap explicitly for Salesforce: entry from $25/seat on the list against common actual spending of $100–$195/seat (WeekCRM). That is why our method prices transparency at 20% — both numbers are published, side by side, wherever verified.
